Description Details Share

This is one of my first sculptures in my beginning ceramics course. It is a manipulated slab cube. The idea is loosely based on Pandora's box. It features a three headed snake, demon hand, busted lock, "runes", and stitched "flesh". It is sculpted from high fire clay and high fire wire for the stitches. This is pre-fire. It still needs to go into the kiln and then be glazed and fired again.

well i've recognized Ansuz, Wunjo, Dagaz (i think)
and i can't recognize the three others (those in the lower part of the picture)
